Platycodon grandiflorum (Platycodon grandiflorus (Jacq.) A. DC.) is a perennial herb of Platycodon genus of Platycodon family with stout roots. The plant is unbranched and has few upper branches. The leaves are oval, oval-elliptic to lanceolate, and the leaf edge is finely serrated. Corolla is generally plantar flower, blue or purple.
